ORCHESTRA GEELONG
Join the Orchestra Geelong Community
Our Orchestra is always on the lookout for players of all symphonic instruments to fill vacancies or play extra wind, horn, brass, harp, keyboard and percussion parts.
The players of the Orchestra Geelong are a mix of amateurs, professionals and students.
Professional musicians who want to share their skills and knowledge are encouraged to join!
We love to learn from each other and we are particularly keen to encourage young musicians to join us and enjoy the experience of being part of a full symphony orchestra.

Being a part of Orchestra Geelong involves a small annual membership fee.

The orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings (except school holidays) at the Geelong High School Music Department (near the corner of Garden and Ryrie Streets) in the building immediately behind the Shenton Performing Arts Centre.

If you are keen to play with us, are at least Grade 5 AMEB level and aiming to continue to improve we would love to hear from you.

Please contact us via our New Player Application form.

We also have temporary vacancies in various sections or require extra players for some works, including harp, contrabassoon, bass and keyboards.

If you have a different skill/qualification level, you might like to contact one of these Geelong institutions:
